Systempages

In addition to the self-created pages to which you can add widgets, there are also system pages and system widgets for certain components within Website Management 2. These pages are created by e-Captain and can not be deleted. However, it is possible to change the theme and layout of these system pages.

• Click on Website Management 2 in the main menu.
• Select Pages in the submenu.
• Click on the System pages line.

The system pages folder contains several pages as well as a few sub folders, in which certain system pages are grouped from the same part. For example, the system pages for the My Captain components are grouped in the My Captain folder.

Layout systempage

A system page can consist of a layout with only a system widget or a complete page layout with multiple system widgets and ordinary widgets. Below are some examples of the layout of a few system pages:
• System page News overview with a system widget News overview.

• Systempage My Captain Forum with a widget Menu and a system widget Forum.

• Fully completed Systempage my Captain.
  
  

Adjust systempages

The system pages can be completely adapted to the theme and layout of the organization. It is possible to change this via the settings button. It is also possible to adjust system pages by adding new rows and widgets. In the example below, the system page Search is adjusted.

• Click on Website Management 2 in the main menu.
• Select Pages in the submenu.

• Click on the Systempages folder and open Search.

Systempage - change layout and theme

The upper bar shows a summary.

• Click Settings and you reach the page settings. 
• In this screen you can link your layout to your systempage.
• Here you can change your standard theme of the systempage.
• Accept changes to your page and select the publish button.
  
  

Systempages - add widgets and row

The layout of a system page is kept as standard by e-Captain. After changing the layout and theme to the corporate identity of the organization, you may want to add an extra row or widget to the system page. Here's how to add rows and widgets to the page.

• In the example below, an extra row has been added to the Search system page containing an Icon + text widget and a Text wiget with additional information.

Settings system widgets

A system widget as in the Search example, can have settings like any widget within e-Captain.

• To change these settings, click the   icon in the upper right corner of a system widget.
  
  

• The settings for this widget are opened in a pop-up.
• Save.
  
  

After selecting a specific system page with the corresponding system widgets, different settings have to be set. These settings are discussed further with the individual Systempages.
