Setting up Supply and Demand (Management Centre)

General

Before you start with the Supply and Demand module you have to set a number of things in the Management Center. These consist of:
•General settings
• Manage categories
• Manage free fields

In addition, you can also run the ad management in the Management Center.

General settings

For the general settings, go to the Demand & Supply Center in the Management Center and then click General Settings.

• • Set the number of days (from 1 to 21 days) for sending a reminder email to the advertiser that the advertisement is about to expire.
  • Click on the purple "search" button to select the desired e-mail template. An explanation about creating an e-mail template can be found on this page.
  • With Ad duration you set how long ads stay active (from 1 to 6 weeks)
  • Click on the purple "Save" button to save the settings.

Create and manage categories

• Click  to create a new category. At least one has to be made. 

Settings

• Name category: Enter the name of the category
• Place items under main category: Optionally, you can place a category under another category to create a subcategory
• Number of images: Select the maximum number of images that can be placed with an advertisement.
• Advertisements can be shown to: Select to whom the ads may be shown.
• Individuals from these groups have the right to place new advertisements: Select here who can place advertisements
• Number of weeks that ads remain active: Select here the number of weeks that an advertisement is active (visible)
• Link free fields: Link any free fields to a category here to add additional attributes to an ad.
• Advertisement costs: Indicate here if there are costs associated with placing an advertisement
• Link articles (Members / Non members): Link here the article you created in Item management if there are costs associated with an advertisement.

Create and manage blank fields

With the help of free fields you can add extra characteristics to an advertisement category. Think for example of color, dimensions, condition etc ..

To create free fields, go to Demand & Supply in the Management Center and click on Manage free fields.
• In the upper part, select the option New to create a new group with free fields.
• In Name, enter the name of the group of free fields and click on save

• You can then add free fields in the lower part. You have the choice between different types of fields.

Manage advertisements

You can manage managed ads through the Management Center. In the Management Center, go to Demand & Supply and select the Manage Ads option. You will see an overview of all advertisements.
