e-Captain allows you to sort contacts into groups. These groups are convenient to create the right selections or reports. In order to make this work for you, it is important to understand a number of principles. The report generator provide a number of standard queries. Next to the standard queries you find a help icon where you will find explanations concerning the selected standard query.
A contact will normally be shown on only one list. This creates issues if a person is a member of several groups as you will only see one group in the report.
In this example you see the Trainers group. The person you see is the trainer for Team A and Team B.
In order to show that somebody is trainer of two teams, you will need to change the standard query to the query Members and Groups.
This standard query will show the same contact several times.
e-Captain has a very extensive Member Management package. We offer several basic trainings which teach you to work with e-Captain in an accessible way. The trainings take place at our office in 's-Hertogenbosch.
