You can add items using the menu item Item Management.

You can allocate item numbers to items yourself. Be mindful of the numbers and groups that you allocate; some structure is recommended. It makes sense to create items on the basis of groups; the items remain together. It also allows you to analyse group totals from your turnover.
An item number is entirely free for you to determine. You could e.g. use a numerical set of digits such as 20034, 20035, 20036 etc.. You can also use 100.100, 100.101, 100.102 etc.
Using the create groups
icon, you can e.g. create a group of membership types, such as adults, juniors, family, instructirs etc. The same goes for berths, keys, etc. So an item/product can be:
| Item number | 100.100 |
| Description | Key main gate |
| Annually returning | yes |
| Expires after a year | 2016 |
| Group | Keys |
| Price | 40.00 |
| VAT/GST | Low |

In this case there is a memo field, in which you can record the date of handing out the key. When the key is handed back in, you can enter that date or the end date. This allows you to have control over outgoing keys. You can create a list of these using the report generator. The standard lists already contain a base list.
