If a member joins after the subscription period starts, you can automatically calculate a percentage of the total subscription fee. To set up the percentage table:
- In the main menu click on Management Centre.
- Select Subscription fees.
- Select Maintain percentage table.
- In the screen above click on New item to add a new line.
- Enter the month and the discount applicable to a new member once the subscription period has already started.
- Click on Save to create the discount item.
- It is possible to create several percentage options.
In the percentage table settings you can indicate which type of subscription the percentage table applies to. It can be set to either or both Automatic subscription fee rules and Automatic group rules.
Example
- Adult member, joins 12-03-2016, fees via Automatic group rule (Adult member € 40,00)
- As this member joined two months after the subscription period started (01-01-2016 start), they will automatically be charged 80% of the subscription fee for this year according to the percentage table above (after 2 months).
