Introduction

e-Captain allows you to automatically calculate membership fees for all members. This is an advanced module. There is a model for how the automatic subscriptions are calculated. This model can be found in the section maintenance / group and fee settings.  Based on the selections you have entered the items will be automatically calculated and linked. This saves much time. To create the items/lines, go to the relevant section.

e-Captain offers several methods of calculating the subscription fees. Before entering your subscription selections check the diagram below to help decide which option is best for you.

The different methods used to calculate subscriptions are:

  • Manual: to enter subscription fees manually by member, fill in the tab handmatige contributie/manual subscription on the members page. Otherwise the subscription fee will be calculated automatically.
  • Membership type: if the Manual subscription tab is left blank, it will default to the subscription fee that is associated with the Membership type
  • Age category: If the Membership type field is left blank, fees will be calculated based on Age category
  • Group: it is also possible to calculate subscriptions based on Group. For example, if a member is part of several groups and must pay a fee per group.
  • Finally, it is possible to calculate a fee base don the start/enrolment date, using the Percentage table.
