Once you have created an activity in e-Captain, you can publish the activity on your club/organisation’s website. This way, members and non-members can register for the activity. If you use the module ‘electronic payments’, you can charge directly for the costs.
If the activity has a publication date, the date will be visible in the member section of e-Captain, My Captain. Members can register using their login details. non-members can also – if allowed – register for the activity. Non-members will see a registration form with which they can register for the activity.
In the example below, you are registering for the activity Family Sailing day-out. This activity is found on the club’s website.
You can register for multiple activities at the same time. This can only be done for the member who's logged in. If you want to register for multiple people, have alook at Register for linked relations.
Note: If you want to go back from the activities calender to the overview, press: Non finished activities.
You can create links between members within the e-Captain management Centre. You can link relatives, or people to a company.
These links make it possible for linked members to registrate eachother for an activity (a dad can register his child, a company can register his employees).
If you want to use this option, select Register for linked members allowed(in Member Management, Links tab), within the categorie .
The member can log in when he registers himself for an activity and register linked members as well.
If a member or non-member has registered for participation in an activity, it is possible that external changes are visible in membership management. You must turn this option on at Activities settings in the Management centre.
When members register for activities through the club’s website, e-Captain automatically generates a change. You can change this by:
iDEAL can be made mandatory by the club/organisation. In that case, registrations link directly to iDeal payments. Payment using iDeal is dependent on e-Captain settings.
For this setting, go to Management centre
In the image below you can see that you have now successfully registered for the activity.
