Enrolling activities via website

Register activities on website

Once you have created an activity in e-Captain, you can publish the activity on your club/organisation’s website. This way, members and non-members can register for the activity. If you use the module ‘electronic payments’, you can charge directly for the costs.

Register for an activity on the website

If the activity has a publication date, the date will be visible in the member section of e-Captain, My Captain. Members can register using their login details. non-members can also – if allowed – register for the activity. Non-members will see a registration form with which they can register for the activity.

In the example below, you are registering for the activity Family Sailing day-out. This activity is found on the club’s website.

Non-members or members with no login data will have to complete the form. The form can be adapted completely to what the organisation requires. In this document you can read more about creating forms.
  • Log in using the login data received or complete the form.

  • If the registration results in an amount to pay, this can be paid using an Ideal, on invoice or by direct debit or cash. You can only use Ideal if you also use the Ideal module of e-Captain.
  • Paying retrospectively is dependent on your club/organisation allowing this, and also depends on the member agreeing to direct debits. If so, you can collect the amount by direct debit. If not, the member can transfer the amount himself or pay cash.

Register on behalf of linked members

You can create links between members within the e-Captain management Centre. You can link relatives, or people to a company.

These links make it possible for linked members to registrate eachother for an activity (a dad can register his child, a company can register his employees).

If you want to use this option, select Register for linked members allowed(in Member Management, Links tab), within the categorie .

The member can log in when he registers himself for an activity and register linked members as well.
